Bea Phillips (Bsc.Couns) |
There are many times in our lives when we all really feel we need someone to listen to us. This is basically what counselling is:
- Someone to listen to you and talk through your issues
- Someone to help you to move on and overcome life’s problems.
I provide therapy for both individuals and Couples alongside helping with personal growth & support. Some areas I can help you with are:
- Relationship problems
- Anger and depression
- Changes or worries in your life
|
- Stress and anxiety
- Loss and grief
- Relaxation Techniques
|
- Budgeting advice aligned to counselling therapy
|
I have a strong passion for working with couples and families to help support them whilst going through life’s difficulties particularly with chronic illness and disability.
Counselling Approach
I believe that although problems may be seen as common, different circumstances, culture or personality means that therapy needs to match the individual. To achieve this I incorporate various approaches into my practice including:
- Person Centred (Rogerian)
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
|
- Narrative Therapy
- Mindfulness
