Counselling

Bea Phillips (Bsc.Couns)

There are many times in our lives when we all really feel we need someone to listen to us.  This is basically what counselling is:

  • Someone to listen to you and talk through your issues
  • Someone to help you to move on and overcome life’s problems.

I provide therapy for both individuals and Couples alongside helping with personal growth & support.  Some areas I can help you with are:

  • Relationship problems
  • Anger and depression
  • Changes or worries in your life
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Loss and grief
  • Relaxation Techniques
  • Budgeting advice aligned to counselling therapy

I have a strong passion for working with couples and families to help support  them whilst going through life’s difficulties particularly with chronic illness and disability.
Counselling Approach
I believe that although problems may be seen as common, different circumstances, culture or personality means that therapy needs to match the individual.  To achieve this I incorporate various approaches into my practice including:

  • Person Centred (Rogerian)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Mindfulness

I can be contacted via my mobile number: 027 539 7426
