About Ven Khadro

Ven. Khadro was born in Venezuela of European parents, emigrated to a New Zealand in 2004, and has lead courses/retreats in NZ, Australia, Colombia, India, Nepal and Germany. Her "international" background allows her to have an open, friendly and warm manner. Khadro is currently studying an online Master Programme in Buddhist Philosophy and lives in semi-retreat at Lawudo, a remote hermitage in the Himalayas in Nepal. She is a Buddhist Chaplain, a FPMT registered teacher, and has served in various FPMT Centers.

Ven Khadro is an old friend of a lot of Amitabha people. And so many  people have found her retreats truly wonderful that we would like to  make this available to as many people as possible, therefore we'd like  to offer this by Dana (donation). We hope you can be as generous as  possible, but we completely understand the financial difficulties people  most people face. And we can't afford to lose money either.

The  catering for two days is $30 per person.
